Apple Fritters with Custard Sauce

6 Golden Delicious apples
1/3 mug granulated sugar 1/3 cup brandy 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 3/4 mugs flour 2 egg yolks 3/4 cup milk 2/3 mug beer 2 tablespoons butter, thawed 4 egg yolks 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 cups milk 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence
