Recipe: Strawberry-Jalapeno Barbecue Ribs

Strawberry-Jalapeno Bbq Ribs
1/4 cup chopped onion 1 clove garlic, diced

1/2 cup ketchup 1/2 cup strawberry preserves or strawberry jam 1/4 cup cider vinegar or beer 1 or 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and also finely sliced 1 tbsp bottled steak sauce

1 teaspoon chili powder 4 pounds pork loin back ribs
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt 1/8 to 1/4 tsp ground red pepper

Sauce: In a tiny saucepan cook the onion as well as garlic in warm oil up until tender. Mix in the catsup, strawberry maintains or jam, vinegar or beer, jalapeño peppers, steak sauce and chili powder. Bring simply to steaming; decrease warm. Simmer, uncovered, about 10 mins or up until mixture enlarges a little, stirring periodically. Set aside.

Trim fat from ribs. In a tiny mixing bowl stir together the cumin garlic salt, as well as red pepper. Sprinkle cumin combination uniformly over both sides of ribs; massage into surface area.

Cut ribs into serving-size items.

In a grill with a cover prepare preheated coals around a drip frying pan. Examination for tool heat above the pan. If wanted, location ribs in a rib shelf.
