Recipe: huntsman’s chili

Huntsman’s Chili 2 tbsps vegetable oil

1 1/2 pounds venison, cut right into 1 1/2-inch dices

2 tool onions, reduced into 1/2-inch items

2 medium carrots, peeled and reduced right into 1/2-inch items

2 small parsnips, peeled and also cut right into 1/2-inch items
1/4 cup currants or raisins
4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons chili powder
2 tbsps all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp ground cumin 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper

1(15 ounce)could dark red kidney beans, rinsed as well as drained

1(14 1/2 ounce )could diced tomatoes

1 (12 ounce) could beer or 1 1/2 mugs beef brew

1 cup water Fresh cilantro sprigs, clipped

In a 4-quart pot warm oil. Add half of the venison; chef with onion till browned. Add staying venison, carrots, parsnips, currants or raisins, as well as garlic. Cook for 5 mins; mix in chili powder, flour, salt, cumin and red pepper. Include drained pipes beans, undrained tomatoes, beer or brew and water.
